Broken headset spacers!!Bwahahaha. Never buy an Ellsworth, I had Dare back in the day. They powder coated the bearing bores on the swingarm. Then proceeded to stuff the bearings in, stretching the bores out. After a month of use, I thought the bearings felt like crap so I changed them. I pressed the bearings out and the powder coat came...

Their stuff reminds me of all the rad old skate videos we watched in the 90's. Really happy about this partnership. Bike world has been very eye rolling over the last few years so something genuine like this is really refreshing.

Comparing boost spacing to e-bikes on hard fought trails in the US is far from the same arguement

I have a Commencal Meta 4.2 and love it. That said, Max has zero clue about trail access in areas like my state, Colorado. Hikers, Horse riders, and many land managers look for EVERY SINGLE reason to kick bikes off of trails. Already rumblings of closing more access to bikes specifically because of the 'e-bike' movement. Not sure how it is in Europe, but that is what we live with in the USA.

Well, at least on the e-bike topic I can agree with him that e-bike racing is pointless!

Saw the Meta AM at their demo day here in CO at Granby Ranch, complete with the brushed aluminum and coil. One of the best looking bikes I've ever seen up close. Also totally disagree with Max on the e-bike thing, especially here in CO. Our trail access is far too fragile to go messing with.

Commençal never made carbon bikes? Excuse me sir? I remember Rémy Absalon breaking his carbon Commençal right at the start of the Mégavalanche La Réunion. And I think he won the one of Alpes d'Huez on the same type of frame. They were no prototypes. http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/bikes/mountain-bikes/product/rev…

Mr. Commencal seems very switched on, first person I agree with on both E-Bikes and the 29er DH movement. Yes the 29er has merit's in DH, but it's far from an absolute superior wheelsize (Gwin and Brosnan proving that), so keep both and let us have the choice! That proto looks sweet though
