Hopefully Darren will be able to see this and maybe even answer (here's to hoping). Maybe @sspomer can help here? Anyway, has there been any research or calculations going into the use of inerters on bikes? Is that even an option? A quick think over gave me the feeling it MIIIIIIIIGHT be beneficial for the pedalling characteristics (decrease bob on bob-sensitive suspension geometries), but i fear it might have to be something to decouple from the frame to get the best bump performance.

How do you imagine shifting and controlling the dropper from 1 remote? 3 buttons? Considering you're mentioning Shimano I suppose you're thinking about only 2 in which case I don't know what you're on about.

6/25/2019 11:58pm I think the RR stardom was meant inside the EWS circles, as in if a 50 and below placed rider was found dirty, he would have been banned from the sport for longer or something along those lines.

After owning XM1501s in 27,5 (22,5 mm internal, 2015 model) and now owning XM1501s in 30 mm and 29", i think a 29er can really use a 32 spoke wheel in the rear. Maybe running an insert in the tyre will help now...

6/23/2019 2:28am There were articles linked here demonstrating the effects of these substances on athletes. While not the full roadie pro drug ring with transfusions, EPO and god knows what, it is a performance enhancing substance. You don't take it if you don't want performance enhanced.

I did this on my Spank Spikes on my previous bike and the OneUp aluminiums on my current bike. There's no point in having pins there since the shoe doesn't cover them, at least for me. The foot arch undercut is there and the shoe moves away. Plus if you move your foot a bit more outwards, the pin doesn't get covered. Different strokes for different yolks though.

3/24/2019 2:04pm I think the catch here is that 'two athletes tested positive thing' with no names, but there was the picture of five guys being tested floating around. The speculation of who was positive started there.
