It's not 'how they did the boltless thing'. It's the 'Volcom' thing. Volcom isn't exactly a bike/MTB brand (if anything, BMX, maybe...). So him having a stem cap from Volcom might maybe indicate some changes? At least that's what i'd like to hear about, don't know if jmcneill has the same stance.

3/11/2019 6:31am Yeah, they can be dropped, but the governing body can't mandate that the sponsors drop the athletes as part of the punishment. That's what I'm saying. They are paid and are paid well enough that this is their job and taking care of what you're eating or drinking is a part of it. Cheating is cheating and there have to be consequences. URLPLS. Their video showed the exact same screen that is also in this article (right above the In Action chapter, middle part of the photo). There you can see you have two buttons mapped to the right shifter pod and one to the left dropper pod. And you can throw around what each of the three buttons does. But there are not three buttons on the shifter pod, so no, you can not control the RD and the dropper from one side. Unless they give out an update where the dropper will activate with a long press or something.
