Tough to watch. I still don't think the cameras manage to convey the true threat of these tracks. Maybe longer lenses from the opposite mountain would help (that's what they do on ski/snowboarding chutes). I feel like they are doing crazier and crazier things to look extreme on video, when the cameras instantly halve the angle, pushing riders further and further - that Danny Mac slab one was similarly tame-looking compared to the reality.

@Billrideshisbike smart move. I did watch it with my wife. She was like "You look like you're gonna puke. Why?" Told her I was getting sick just knowing what I was gonna see. I did NOT expect to see him just slowly rolling down the hill for so very long and slow utterly unconscious.

Hey guys, bummer to see all the hate from a few of you but I guess that’s passionate fans in sporting. Here’s the reality. From my understanding and recent reading of the rules, There is not a rule that says you must petition. A petition just assures that you are considered. The rules basically say that USA cycling will pick, at their discretion, everyone who is not an automatic selection (national champ or top 3 in previous world champs). After that the rules just say that they will basically pick whoever is in the top 50 of the current WC...

So, you are racist then...there is no other option. Seriously, you need to look hard at yourself and maybe one day you will understand meritocracy (kinda like a bike race, perform for reward) and look past someone's physical attributes and only to their behaviors....must be hard to live in a glass house...I do feel sorry for you. There can be healing.
