Also consider that it's best to not use the same syringes and hoses for different types of brake fluids, as they will be contaminated. Also the different rubbers might not play well with different fuids. Bleed kits are cheap anyway, it's best to have one for DOT and one for mineral oil.

At 280 lbs your best bet if you want more rigidity is a double crown fork. Likely the added stanchion stiffness of the 38 won't make much of a difference, it will just move flexion more towards the crown/headtube joint. I am pretty sure a RS Boxxer isn't much heavier than a 38.

OT on. Some top tier brake pads (Trickstuff power, Galfer green) are organic. It depends on the application, for a 3-4 minute dh run organic are superior IMO, but I can see for general riding maybe not so much. OT off

What Galfer pads did you try?

If they make them for the Dominion, get some Galfer green pads. Best brake pads I have ever tried. If you are worried they won't last long enough or if you ride long descents, you can try the purple ones. They are also supposed to be very good. I usually buy them for 20 euros from Amazon.
