I have to say I appreciate the organizers revising the schedule in hope of having a (safe) race. Any idea on how they would score points? Or will they just assign points 1st to 30th?

Just for reference, few years back in 2016/2017 the Italian national cup had great attendance: more than 300 riders each race, and even more than that at the beginnning of the season, and the entry fee was 50 euros. The level was high, but a step below some other series, with only a few Italian riders able to qualify at...

French cup costs around 40 euro, and it's probably the best feeder series (with the US having made strides and being close as far as bringing up new talent) with large attendance every race. I am not saying it's easy to host a race, but 165 dollars for an entry fee feels absurd and counterproductive.

I really like the track actually. I just think camera placement is bad and cameras are mounted too low, but we also have to wait for elite finals to see more of the track. Mad speeds from the young guns as usual, with lower times than elites' time training for both Junior women and men!

Watch out for Hauser, 42nd at the first split (must have been a crash/error) and finished 5th. On a side note, is there a way to see actual split times instead of combined split times somewhere?

I was shocked when I watched Brayton's vlog (Euro Champs). Semi-final points MUST count towards eligibility to race WCs. It's the best 60 riders in the world on that day we are talking about. But is this new or was it just hidden somewhere in the rule book? I have a feeling it's just a very cheap and BS way...

I think it's because ideally you always maintain perfect contact between feet and pedals, while footpegs allow to move your foot around more, as you do while riding. Neing skinnier allow the footpeg to dig in the sole of the boot while the foot is pointed both downward and upward, you can't really do that with pedals as the edge...

This is just not true, top riders often use revalved or non-stock dampers in both forks and shocks. It is also pretty clear from the Dialed series you mentioned. Also, there are really no A-kit forks or shocks sold on the market for DH bikes unlike for MX for example, so it will always be revalved stuff. Also, brands might...
