Had a chance to get an up close look at the lines. Brendog obviously was under scored. Conspiracy me thinks this keeps happening to drive engagement (his run was much better than it scored, but it was not the winning run). Having said that, Semenuk’s run was wild. Oppo whip into the lily pad is not only the most tech air move to happen on the hill, but also very consequential because of the second stage. It sounds like this race rewarded the very technical but conservative rider. That's usually the riders able who are in the top but might struggle to find this last % that puts you on the podium (guys like Estaque and Thirion, Eleanora). These results might help them to get there in the future but it will be interesting to see how it shakes up on a consistent dry race. Completes from other manufacturers are available for similar or less money with name-brand suspension. The ARQ fork seems like a big downside on this build, especially if it isn't readily serviceable.
