Hey enrico650, I don't work full time for Vital, I do review product for them from time to time, so don't take what I write as "coming from Vital". However, I have been to a few of these bike launch events and wanted to mention a few things... First, generally the company can only bring a handful of bikes to a launch. Partly because these demo bikes are in short supply, partly because the bike launch is usually done in a remote location so there are limitations from a logistics perspective. This means the company can only bring one bike...

Man, this bike is now an ABSOLUTE collector. A part of mtb memory lives in this frame, you really can be proud of it! And awesome parts by he way !! Ride it full gaaaas !!!!

I live near Lenoir and thought the same thing when it comes to Bronson vs Nomad. Glad i chose the Bronson. Its a riot on black mountain, beehive, etc. Just the right amount of bike.

Just a quick look at the top rung build - That is a lot of bike for $5200 - Carbon wheels, top rung suspension, carbon frame. That is other guys' $10K bike... DTC FTW.

You wont regret it. Im running one on my 2017 bronson and it feels like a new bike as well. The monarch it replaced felt dead or muted to me. Impacts were absorbed but it didnt have much support at all. I put a band in the negative chamber of the topaz and three in the positive so its soft off the top but progressive through the mid and end stroke. I use full travel every ride and never feel it bottom. Its a solid shock and totally worth the cash. Beats out more expensive stuff easy. Hope this helps.

This makes me so happy. I remember taking the 1 ton VHS camera in the woods and filming jumps on walmart rigs. Then i discovered NWD 2 Freewheel burning on Limewire and it was on.
