Hahaha no way! I used to watch the Octane events dirt bike races they would throw at the fairgrounds. Haven’t lived in Nevada since 2011 ish though. I just have never figured out how to update it lol. Since before trust launched their linkage forks I’ve always thought linkage forks were the way to go. I got to fool around on some trust forks and my God they were really onto something, I just never got the funds to buy one. I think the fork you have on the way is way cooler, and I love that you can use...

Moosey, me too!! Gonna be a while still as I have to build a wheel around the Trailmech hub that they have included, because the 25mm axle made making my Hope hub impossible to convert. I also need to find the right brake caliper adaptor. Working on finding the right adaptor right now actually. Just a side note, I used...

Here is a photo from the video that I cropped the messaging and have just the photo. Strange looking fork but I am totally looking forward to getting it mounted on my hardtail Nukeproof, then ordering a suspension frame with gearbox for a build. This was the prototype fork without the floating brake system.

Great choice. Guys make great quality hubs for relatively little money. I use one of their rear hub, very happy.

Kuzlich, and just so you know, he is sending me a Trail Mech hub that will fit the axle, like you stated on your post.

Kuzlich, after extensive conversation via translation on WhatApp, I have purchased his latest version of this fork and anticipate delivery in a month. After your last post I took it upon myself to pursue contacting him on YouTube and discussing the fork on the WhatsApp that he suggested. He did add a floating brake system and modified the bottom swingarm...
I am interested in the hub because I did want a gearbox but the frame specific gearboxes dont allow much latitude on frame choice when building. Gearbox is my choice, so the debate of it's merits is not needed, just real world experiance. I am not a weight weenie, and do know about unsprung weight issues(gearbox hub only weighs about...

I know linkage advantage is having less stiction, this appears to still have the bigger seal surface stiction as a regular fork with the advantage of the linkage system. The Push guys rock and must have this working well if they are proposing building this fork for production. Also I didnt see if this was a single side fork or...
Adam, I kinda get it. It is VERY hard to find a system that is even close to the efficiency in the range of environments as a roller chain. Maintainance is stupid simple as well. From single-speed to multi (in my years, friction, index that was not needed, then Ergopower, STI and 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 speed (all not needed). Oddly, just the other day I suggested that an old school DuraAce bar end be used in friction mode to resolve an issue to get 12 speed Eagle to run on a mutt-bike. Works great. When we put...

Does the .5lb difference also include the derailleur from a standard set up? Wish the large drivetrain companies would look more intently at derailleur alternatives.

A new decent rear derailleur runs $125+ plus a new cable and possibly housing isn't all that cheap. A derailleur alternative like Rohloff shouldn't need major replacements for a "minimum of 100,000km riding", really not a big deal on price when spread across that time frame. The efficiency/weight and ability to run trigger shifters on derailleur alternatives is where I hope most of the R&D money would go towards.

That is great, until it is not great - much like an automatic transmission in a car (or for me, DCT)....very spendy when things to awry. I am good with a chain and gears....
