I think it says alot about the bike. 1. “It absolutely shreds” 2. Horst park bike 3. Dual crown 4. Air or coil 5. Made for park and sideways landings 6. Mx wheels 7. Aluminum That’s definitely a sweet spot for many riders who buy bikes. Brage destroying a trail burger doesn’t hurt.

My gen3 optic + dvo diamond 36 is the same weight as the status 160 + fox 38 it replaced lol. I wouldn't call it a useless bike. It's niche as fuck, but it's excellent at what it does. It's super jibby and the suspension performance is incredible for only 125mm. It's quite stiff and very burly, and rides like it's meant to be ridden at enduro bike pace on enduro bike terrain if you can hold on to it.

I wanted an optic but it weighs the same as my spire. Optic could be psycho slack, that would leave fluid to be “normal” and revolver in the lighter xcish trail zone. There is a cult of fluid riders inside the bike industry secretly praising the perfect kinematic and simple clean Horst packaging….

You have a couple of options that I’ve used and seen around the Rockies that work pretty good. In the winter, I kept seeing these on cars when I walked through the lot and I have two kids and a wife who kept leaning their skis up on my truck. It seemed smart. https://a.co/d/0hrzaACQ I ended up finding some single...
