I'm doing the first EWS in Italy this weekend. Won't do very well, but looking forward to riding with the Pros and experiencing the course. It was only about £40 to enter too!

I had built up my bikes over the years and had a trio of good machines; jump, trail and DH. They all got nicked earlier this year (and parts) amounting to £16000. I was insured and they paid up, but I want the scum lowlife chav pricks to pay for what they did. This Dude found his thief and in my opinion did a great job of getting him busted. Agreed, if one 'would be' bike thief sees this dude get busted and stops, then it's a good thing. Also, the bike owner got his bike back and the thief arrested. Good for him. Quagmire, you are the Douche.

They looked thin, were super light and cheap, but because they are made from nylon instead of metal, I didn't think they were that strong.The first thing I noticed, is the little bump in the middle, where the axle is. Sorry to go on, but I think that the rule applied, muddies the waters, in what is a really simple sport, where you ride down the hill as fast as you can and the fastest wins. When there is a human element in the decision it can (and has) caused controversy.

I also think the ruling was bad. Tapes and poles can be used to tighten a course as well as stop cutting. Go outside a pole, get DQed. GT and Rachel should give up the win and take it on the chin, all in the name of good sportsmanship.
