I am surprised Orbea kept Headset Cable Routing. They have been removing it from a lot of their bikes... New Rallon doesn't have it, the Occam did, but they removed it. I bet they will remove it mid cycle.

Or would there be too much slack between cable clipping the front and rear hose together, and the bottle bosses? Which headset are you running? I got a 25 wild h30 about a month ago. Awesome bike, headset is definitely annoying though. Plan on swapping brakes out this winter and installing this unit: https://easybikeparts.co.uk/collections/complete-headsets/products/easy…

I have one, best riding bike I have ever had. The headset routing is the worst thing and has made me not recommend this bike to others. I have since bought an aftermarket headset and still have the rear brake and derailleur routed through the headset. . I bought a wireless dropper and will eventually move to wireless shifting. If I can at that point I will use something to move the rear break to external, seen it done on a FB group for the Wild. I was hoping with the recent re-design I thought they would have ditched it...

Is there a cure for cable headsets? Is it possible to fit a normal headset, and route cables externally? I guess the dropper is the sticking point (unless you go full external dropper)? Actually, don't some frames pop the dropper cable in and out of the downtube/seat tube, to avoid the BB/motor?

So if those builds are comparable, a motor and battery is 3000 extra. Isn't a motor about 1000, and a battery about 800? Is that just ebike tax because you can?

The Monterra SL, 600w battery, same travel, is 45lb with basic spec, and 43lb with expensive spec. Ebike manufacturers should concentrate on taking weight off, not putting it on.
