More like SRAM is about 5 years behind with that 21mm inner width. Looks like they are on the Mavic Euro roadie plan....

Review by Joel Harwood // Photos by AJ Barlas Magura has a long and storied history in mechanical engineering, hydraulic engineering and plastics. Best known for brakes, Magura has been working their way into suspension for the last handful of years. Magura’s initial offerings such as the Thor and Wotan were not as well-received as they would have hoped for. With the feedback they received, Magura took their damping platform back to the drawing board and have produced a new cartridge designed to excel in burly terrain and under aggressive riders. A new damping system, shim tuning and volume spacers...

So a spare tube, chain popper, and mini tool set inside a small seat pouch and on your back snacks and a water bottle. Sounds cool. Only problem is: 1 water bottle isn't enough for me. Especially on longer hotter rides. The other problem is crashing and landing on your back. I would imagine landing on that plastic bottle won't help much during a crash. CamelBak, Dakine, Opsrey and others do just fine. Also if you crash they add a nice cushion for your back.

Tools / Water / Air / Tubes would have been a more interesting acronym. This is nothing more than trying to create a solution to a problem that hardly exists. Bottles on bikes and packs on backs have been real and valid options, and in the pack's case, a very versatile option.

Specialized inventing things that already exists Look at that hidratation pack: http://www.wiggle.es/rinonera-salomon-xt-twin-oi12/ And about the shorts, I think it have to be uncomfortable. It could be a better solution a short with pockets, if you need

Specialized now goes for patent on "jersey with pockets" then goes after every road company that has been making jerseys with 3 pockets on the back since the dawn of time...? Nice work.

2/17/2014 12:42pm
Reviewed by Evan Turpen and Jess Pedersen // Photos by Shawn Spomer and Lear Miller Following a major overhaul to the tubeset, linkage, and shock tune in 2013, the 160mm travel Nukeproof Mega AM once again sees updates for 2014. When the company sat down to redesign the bike, they made it a goal to maintain the same stable, do anything feel from 2013, but with the added benefit of 27.5-inch wheels. Curious to see just how wild we could get on the revised ride, we did our best to put it through the paces in Sedona, Arizona during the...
