This is not coming from a place of "hate" but I don't think this bike weighs 27.1 lbs even with a single speed setup. However, it's a lovely looking bike

Nico Vink gave or sold you the frame? Either way you're one hell of a lucky rider! It was sad to see Nico leave the Scott team last year.

Expected to cost 30% more than other sealant brands? It better work as advertised. Finishline's B.S. tire sealant was a HUGE let down. They should recall their sealant and refund anyone who wasted their money on it. The race to find the best sealant is still on. So far Orange Seal and Stans Pro sealant are the best but come with their own headaches.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is I'd like to wash/dry my MTB gear along with my other clothes. I don't want to "hang" dry my gear. Every other jersey and shorts I use for riding I don't have these issues. I hope that helps you understand where I'm coming from. Also, I hand washed and let the Brisker gloves air dry...those didn't even last more than 2 seasons. (I'm talking graphics on the gloves, although the stitching for touch screen finger tip is all but frayed and useless)

Maybe it's the new line of gear you're testing out. I had their shorts a few years back and they lasted I believe 4-5 wash cycles before I noticed the durability wearing off. I wasn't happy since the left pocket was coming undone so I threw it out. Maybe their new gear has better material used as well as a higher quality control.

Their shorts are made to be thrown in the washer and dryer. Who buys MTB shorts that require you to only hand wash them? The only thing i hand wash is the gloves but even those didn't hold up.

My personal experience with 100% wearable MTB gear is this: Durability. They do not last. Seams come loose, logos and graphics crack and peel after only a few washes. Gloves I hand wash but the graphics still crack and peel off. They make some of the coolest looking gear and I absolutely LOVE their Brisker gloves for cold weather riding but I wish their gear was more durable.

liquidSpin Added a comment about feature 11 of the Best Heavy-Duty Kneepads | Vital MTB Roundup

I went from cheap "Demon" knee pads that didn't last at all to 661 which i assumed would last longer but instead wore out quickly and it never felt that comfy during rides longer than 30 minutes. Upgraded to RF Ambush and were let down once again. I finally pulled the trigger and got the expensive Scott Grenade knee pads and never looked back. I can wear these on epic long rides during the summer and forget I even have them on. The fit and feel are perfect. I did experience a few crashes but never had any knee injuries...

Wow, "No questions asked" lifetime warranty? Legendary rider Danny Macaskill abusing the hell out of these wheels trying to destroy them. Now a 5 out 5 star review? Santa Cruz has been killing it lately. I already have a set of Carbon wheels so I'm not looking to buy another set but man, if I were these would be it. Honestly, they may be expensive but compared to ENVE they are are steal. Great review!

liquidSpin Added a comment about press release MilKit Booster Makes Tubeless Tire Installation Easy and Affordable

Thanks for getting back to me~ Yeah, the valve does leak air but I do have time to refill but I have to be very quick about it since it does leak pretty quickly. I just like how the other valve stops any air from leaking and I can take my time when filling up the syringe with sealant. I've been dealing with it for a year now and gotten good at prepping I'll get in touch with your support to see if I qualify for a replacement valve. Thanks and also I do love the Milkit system. I...

The valves losing a little air with the valve core removed is not a problem. You still have enough time to measure and refill the sealant and the put the valve core back for full air-tightness. If you lose a lot of air please contact us on http://support.milKit.bike
