"Ingenious" is over-egging it more than a little bit but either way he says "...you're relying on your eyesight and everyone has a dominant eye..." and "...you're still relying on your eyes and one eye's going to take over from the other..." Who on earth does it that way without closing one eye?! Edit: Whoops, this wasn't intended to be as dismissive as it ended up being. It's certainly a neat way to minimise the faff if you need to be sure that it's just so and you're committed to using a string.

I do a layer of rim tape I don't remember the exact width I got. It fits in the rim bed and covers the spoke holes. Then do a another layer over top with rim tape that covers the entire inner width.

Lloris with a suspension locking mechanism and a light on his steerer tube to indicate it. ...give the whole video a watch because it's funny to hear him deal with talking and riding but around 2:45 he says "locking my suspension" and you see his steerer tube cap light up orange. I wonder if this is a Rockshox thing now. In the clip it looked similar to Vali's top cap from a couple pages back.

Helmets specifically designed for rounder heads like the ones Smith specifically make for snow sport helmets. 760mm length high rise carbon bars. Modular brake mount adapters. Instead of having a bunch of different brake adapters, its just extra legs and a couple different bolts.
Yeah the orbital sander seems like a good solution to me - I'll give that a go some time! There are simimlar methods with a mill or drill press which are much more involved to set up so I think thats a good middle ground. Just between you fingers would only have a superficial effect - you ideally want to reset the surface and remove any old material deposits or grooves worn by the old pads. Also how do people go with cleaning oil contaminated pads and rotors? Isopropyl alcohol is often recommended but its actually not very good at...

New FOX products (specifically shocks), which have been frequently mentioned in this forum, will be released on March 31. Info through the FOX distributor in Chile. Pedro Burns rode a DH race this weekend using the prototype coil shock.

Completely off topic. But has anyone else notice the 760mm 40mm rise Era handlebars are pretty much unobtanium? Especially the ones in Kashmoney.

I just got a Transition Relay. I'm a bit nervous reading about all the reliability issues of the Fazua motor. havent rode it yet as its still snow and wet on the trails. I think more and more will be going to the Bosch SX for light weight ebikes.

Saw this leaked in another forum. Thought I would post here too. Looks like it’s using a Bosch motor. And looks to basically being an electrified sentinel. Name appears to be regulator SX.

Round one of the Coil Shock Shootout: five rear shocks tested on a short section of mostly downhill trail. The shocks have all been tuned for the same bike, and are using the same spring. All shocks have been setup prior to being tested. A Freelap system will record the time for each run, and a subjective measure of perceived speed or "feel" will be noted before looking at the actual time. The Test Rig 2023 Specialized Enduro running an Intend Edge fork, and O-Chain device. I feel the kinematics of the Enduro make it a good test rig with...

Kango Added a reply to Fox 38 air spring in Zeb chassis?

Biggest mistake was replacing my Fox Factory 38 with the Zeb Ultimate 3.0 Just recently upgraded to the 3.1 piston, lighter compression tune and fast rebound. Hopefully I can get it to feel decent.

I read this twice and I still have no idea what you intended to say other than jaded garbage. You definitely have truly lackluster diction.
