I'm a moderately skilled weekend warrior mountain bike rider, and a highly skilled road course racing driver (Miata's) including some endurance races. I don't have much to add with regards to making adjustments to Richie Rude's riding because I just can't put as much energy into the bike/terrain as he can. What I can interject with is what i know from endurance racing. The best endurance racing drivers know how to extract 98-99% from the vehicles capabilities without putting the car at 99-100% of what it can stand mechanically. Yeah Alex. Keep doing the good work and keep 'em coming. Eric hooked me up with a shirt that I wear all the time. I plan on doing some work at the local pump track in Morro Bay. It's a nice enough layout, but I see a couple of unbuilt lines and it's really rocky dirt. I'm gonna build a double or triple layer sifting set up and resurface and touch up the shaping. Keep on keepin' on.

I'm all for e-bikes if the rider has some sort of injury, disability, or any other legitimate reason that makes the e-bike his or her only option to get out there and rip some trails. But all I see on my local trails (which are closed to e-bikes) are completely healthy and young looking riders on e-bikes who are just too lazy to pedal uphill under their own power. And more often than not their trail etiquette is completely lacking... full Jerry mode.

It's not a shred flick, but the full-length feature is anything but boring. In fact, telling the whole story of the trip and the unique location, and showing the true scale of what they were up against probably made the action sequences 10 times more impressive and enjoyable, when viewed in context. Thanks for the explanation bud, that was cute. It's a heavy frame with a heavy drivetrain. I highly doubt this bike comes in at 29lbs, that's all.

First Foes ive seen since the old Mono that I immediately wanted to know more about. Attractive & practical with what seems like current geo. I like it! Would love to buy a made in the USA AL frame for a future bike. I have no qualms with globalization, but it always made me feel good to see the "Made in USA" on my old DHR.

Maths are better than memories. Literally 1% more range on the Ethirteen, but with a 9t that barely fits a standard chain. 10t has better chain engagement. 9t only works well with half link chains on bmx bikes. I’d put money on the XTR shifting miles better also.
