Lots of great things to say about these. I ran them for the first part of the season front and rear at 2.35 width on a Transition Covert 29er. they are well spec'd this way from Transition as the stock tire. Great job Transition! They hold corners, roll fast and climb well. I can say enough about the volume of the 2.35 it is huge huge huge compared to Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5. Yep they are bigger! Plus they are 200 grams per tire lighter. I will be going back to these next season after I put some more miles...

I can't remember the last time I was so excited to see a bike hit the market. My Enduro 26 was the best bike I've owned until I got a SJ 29, then that one took the throne. It appears that Specialized took my favorite attributes from each bike and combined them to make the Enduro 29. Stoked. For all you righteous 29er naysayers, get over yourselves. What do you care what others ride. Ride whatever works for you whether it be 26, 27.5, or 29. It's not anymore complicated than that, so stop trying to make it such.

Review by Brandon Turman // Photos by Shawn Spomer When Specialized launched the Enduro 29, they did so with a bang. It was clear from the get-go that it wasn't your typical wagon wheeler. Not only is it a 29er with 6.1-inches of travel, but at 16.9-inches the chainstays are surprisingly short - shorter, in fact, than many 26-inch wheeled bikes. Needless to say, we were super curious to know how a bike with big wheels, big travel, and a super short rear end would handle out on the trail. 300+ miles later, it's time to let you guys in...
