last year a swiss broadcasting company bought the rights for the broadcasting of the footage. that's why we couldn't watch the world champs even so there was never a problem at the world cups. i guess the same happened with canada. you gotta figure out who bought the rights

FUCK YOU UCI!!! On top of having to put up with that band of thieves in our government -who have stolen 1200 million USD between yesterday and today alone-, now we have to endure a blackout for the Worlds. FUCK THE UCI!

WTH!!!!!! They haven’t got this sorted yet. How can they show world cups all year then not show the world champs? They can’t show it in Canada? Again? Ya no one in Canada rides a mt bike. Ridiculous/rant

9/4/2018 11:37am Nice bikes, especially Braytons but it’s all about that helmet. Holy F!! Possibly sickest helmet ever right there . That’s some next level art

What is different this year is riders have to qualify. Not many seem to this know as it’s not been well communicated. Sad really. For some small nations, You do what you have to to make the team, your one chance on a world stage you’ve earned and your week may be over after Friday qualifiers - having to sit the racing out two days later. Not sure what the point of the rule is or why the change but I’d say a bit of a downer for sure.

Aaron Gwin to Monster Energy Kawasaki. Eli Tomac to HRC Honda. HRC Honda debuts the carbon fiber RN02 “Dick in a Box” DH rig. Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg rejoice. Sam Hill to Tour de France Moviestar Team/Canyon; wins 2020 tour on flats, manuals most of the descents in the Pyrenees, doesn’t really see what the big deal is. Rob Warner pulled out of retirement to join GT Factory, forced by UCI officials to race Willingen alone. Vali Höll rips a hole in Space-Time, skips the age of 17, turns pro, destroys everyone. Ed Masters wakes up inside a cement...

8/29/2018 9:03pm I don’t know. It just struck me when he started with “talk business” then seemed to catch himself and say “I’m a big fan” and “I’m a fan of what he’s doing for training”( I’m paraphrasing a bit). The kids English isn’t great and there’s a commencal party going on. Seems like an odd couple apart from “business”

8/29/2018 5:40pm The interview after La Bresse with Duprela (Commencal junior) he mentions going to talk with Gwin on “business” then back tracks. I think he’s in senior next year but him and Vali would definitely add points

After track walk, I was wondering if that’d be minnaarly gap 2.0 but I don’t think they left the ground on it. The little sniper trani drop before the asphalt pile looks sketchy for their speed too. Good placement for my speed but I can see a few 15ft to flat landings happening

That last minute berm they put in at the finish isn’t being used. Maybe they can roll It up to before that bridge

As Gwin heads into retirement, it's natural that he moves to a 29er
