I'm totally with you here, but also totally biased, since I have always liked Intense, but never been a fan of Gwin. To me the Intense team of the last two years was the most fun out there: scoring good results with young guns, obvious chemistry among them, some stunning progressive bikes (one of the first to put out 29ers etc.) and always looking fresh in those loud TLD kits, because who the hell else was going to wear grey and purple polka dots anyway? Although last year wasn't the best (far from it and I am sure she will be the first one to admit that) she did well as a privateer before joining the 'factory' team. She was a real promise and back to good health I see no reason why she can't be podium material. On a side note. It is a bit of a disgrace that a lot of factory teams are a sausage fest. Looks like some do that. I’ve heard from a few people. I noticed some went back to normal setting though. Drains the battery. Battery storage takes priority. There’s only so much or so it seems. Most of the trails I’m going faster than the cut off speed would be from gravity/downhill. Maybe mellow straighter trails or road to the trails. I can’t think of where I’d use the extra pedal assist. Might be our trails that make that unnecessary

The torque spec is pretty high, but it’s also a Ti bolt slathered in anti-seize and the splines sit on the outside of the drive side bearing unsupported. I also had an issue with the supplied Ti chainring bolts but I bet that’s an isolated incident so I won’t throw to many stones in my glass house. However things happen if you leave the bolts loose or they loosen (happens rarely ) on a Shimano crank and the Al splines strip around the spindle the arm will still be around the spindle, not the case if that bolt fails for...

I guess you mean the cranks not the bars(beautiful). If you can’t use loctite, I wonder if “vibratite” might be good. Pricey item to f up

Exactly my feeling! They seemed the most fun bunch when I saw them track walking at the Worlds this fall.
