Erwan_Ghesquiere Added a comment about press release ION Launches the Arcon LT Kneepad
6/13/2024 6:19am By the size chart I measure 41 at the calf and 56 at the tight so I'd be in the XL size, but I am only 1m80 and my knee joint is only 37 in diameter. Like I said this type of knee pads are only adequate if your leg is kinda straight shaped, if you have a thin knee with bulky muscles above and belov you need a short kneepad with a strap above the calf, only way they don't end up bunching up above your calf while sliding down from your quads.

6/13/2024 5:37am Knee pads that are rated level 2 are so rare and the ones out there are often big, bulky and warm. This looks like a pretty nice product actually. Edit: I actually researched those and they are the kind of long sock/long knee sleeve type of pad, good if you skip leg days, not usable if you have big quads and calfs so I'll pass, hopefully they integrate the pad in another type of knee pad design soon more like the Kpact for instance.

Erwan_Ghesquiere Added a comment about feature Michelin Rolls Out New Racing Line Enduro and eMTB Tires
3/1/2024 9:51am The real question is, do these develop cracks in their flancs as quickly as the DH versions do ? Since this is a major problem with the DH tire, especially for the price those are sold for, it is definitely a question that needs to be answered.

2/29/2024 6:18am Hi Erwan I just uploaded two pictures. Swipe to the end and you can have a look to the suspension details and geo chart. You may be more comfortable filling our survey in with all these data, Thanks Anthony

2/23/2024 7:33am I'd love to give some feedback but I can't since basing feedback with no data is pointless, a bike is not a look, it is function. Where is the leverage ratio chart ? Anti Rise ? Anti squat ? Axle path ? etc.

9/4/2023 2:09pm Any links you could share for those research papers or DT Swiss' research? Apparently this topic has been debated ad nauseam for the last 15-20 years but some of us are just showing up to the party.

8/2/2023 1:58pm Bolt on BB is a great way to manipulate your Front/Rear center ratio while not changing much else and really isolate the effect of said ratio and basically CS length. Great for a test mule but could also be nice to see on a commercially available bike.

8/2/2023 1:56pm As seen in pit bits video. Mondraker now mounts to rear triangle, not lower link. It has adjustable rear triangle plates for stiffness and bolt in BB bracket. Even though it looks like the old frame, I bet it ride’s completely different!

8/1/2023 8:11am Hugh McLeay of i-Track wrote a bit about the effect of the rate of change of anti-rise on the wheel rate. Unfortunately that page on his site no longer exists, but if I remember correctly, he calculated that increasing AR (or maybe an increasing rate of AR?) decreases the force at the wheel, with decreasing AR having the opposite effect. I'm curious for someone with more resources than me to try to compare rising/falling anti-rise rates at the same level, or constant rates at low vs high levels. Obviously geometry, leverage rate, etc all have effects so maybe the best...

7/31/2023 11:15pm Having owned a V4 in the past I would argue that the high AR value was its main strength and its axle path its main weakness. High AR is always associated with suspension that doesn't work when braking but I never found it to be the case, what nobody tells you is how nice it is to drop the anchor...

7/26/2023 8:37am I love the perfect pedal efficiency as well as zero kickback. Can't get any better than that, but with high AS number, high pedal kick figures and no iddler it doesn't get more BS than that. Some could argue this is misleading advertising.

7/26/2023 8:33am That bike shown is just a 150mm light e bike they released today. It's just speculation that the new dh bike might have the same suspension layout. Hopefully the cover is hiding something a bit more interesting than that. Edit: if you want a good laugh, have a read of their marketing spiel: https://mondraker.com/nc/en/zero-suspension-system

7/6/2023 12:46am Fabien Barel famously rode his floating brake arm on the Kona in a way where his rear end would get pulled into the travel under braking to add stability. Therefore my previous comments about floating brake arms giving the option of adjustability (through changing the length of the supporting arm for the brake link).

6/28/2023 3:03am Agree 100% on the code comments. Taking the time to bleed them correctly, and then properly bleeding the lever's if/when needed is critical. Regarding the stuck pistons. I find these tools to be immensely helpful on not just sram brakes, but all brakes. I've bought the whole set and it makes it every easy to un-stick, clean and lubricate pistons and bores. You still will need to replace the pistons at some point, but this tool will make that much less frequent. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1220259460/top-loading-brake-bleed-and-pis… Regarding the HD6... I cannot believe they did not do size specific chainstays and the head tube...
