Lets be honest, the difference between tuned boxxer and 40 is negligible, both are absolutely capable of winning races so I doubt performance is the answer, more likely its the money. Also dont forget the current itteration of Commecal team with Pierron and PomPom started on SRAM

1/12/2025 10:52am This wouldn’t surprise me. I spoke with his agent on the side of the hill back in snowshoe 2023. He alluded to last year being a bit of transition/test and then Richie would decide what he wanted to do for 2025. Yeti was willing to back whatever he decided.
