Our bike shop was close to Rock Shox in Santa Cruz so we got our DHOs before the pros did.

Didn't Nico and King swap back to the regular alloy version halfway through the season because they didn't like the feel of the thermoplastic?

I think that they switched back because the thermo plastic kept breaking.

Looks cool even today! I think it would be totally badass if GT did a throwback and did the polished joints/lugs whatever the term is with natural carbon on the current DH bike. That would be so cool!

Dude...how?...Pulstars? Airlines? Flite Ti? I still want those things. So very few of us truly understand the pure 90's saliva this bike generates.

Such a wonderful restoration! All that hard work paid off for sure. Beautiful! Even has the Kuster shock on it!

Cool bike! Had a very similar setup in like 1999-2000 but yellow, no airlines and boxxer 150mm instead. Ended up snapping the non-replacable deraileur hanger :/
