just browsing the pivot website, looking through their suspension guide I think they let the cat out of the bag for the firebird 29 rear shock. Current model is 230x65 standard eyelet, Seems the new one is 205x65 trunnion which by rights means a 29 inch Mach 6 lookalike I presume.

People are going to catch on to how disingenuous it is, and it’s going to become more and more transparent how ‘advertisey’ it is. When we make a move to work with someone of any stature, be it mega pro to local ripper / good person their social reach is far from a metric we place value on.
