chris akrigg is the only thing that is keeping mongoose even remotely relevant to me. hes my favorite rider. from trials, to brakeless, to fixed gear, to cross, to trail...hes the most well rounder bicycle rider on the planet.

this is a really genius design! even outside of mtb, imagine being able to stash keys, id, wallet, a snack, and water while out on a short hike or run. great job BOX!

Vital, Just after Gwin won I started thinking about the different bikes he's won on, YT, Demo (two different models?, Enduro Evo, Session (multiple models?). I think it would be cool to do an article on World Cup winners that have won multiple WC's on different bikes and maybe how their setups differed. Just a thought...

I think Gee mentioned on Twitter that Trek turned up at one of the early test sessions with a freshly moulded carbon frame. He was blown away that they moulded a prototype frame in carbon, and it looked like the finished article. Trek haven't signed the Athertons to send them out on bikes that don't fit them.
