it's courses like this that probably make sam hill so freaking happy to have made the switch to EWS. fresh tracks and new challenges. this is some serious serious trail work!

so dumb question but i have to ask - being that this is an invite only event on private land/trails...is there any change of me being able to ride those trails (ahhhh...wayyyy slower)? those trails look like a good time!!

@ Vital So this fork is $699. The Fox is at $1065. Do you think it was/is Fox's move to place Marzocchi to be the "Toyota" to their "Lexus"? Seems that way with the pricing strategy they're working, no?

urban DH racing is cool because it's its own thing. and it's amazing. but seeing the last 15+% of a track being pavement in a UCI DH race? crushed gravel at the top of the track? this course is awful and i look forward to the comments from the racers. these men and women are the most elite MOUNTAIN bike racers in the world. is this course a joke? might as well just copy the EWS course selection - they're putting in the work to keep the circuit fresh and challenging...

It is verrrrrry interesting that they built these bikes to be DC fork compatible. Wonder if it'll show up on the race UCI DH circuit on the "smoother" courses. I think there will be some pretty bad @$$ builds on vital in the years to come

Agreed, by far the best article and pics on the Capra that appeared online today. Well done! Nothing game changing but another solid and well priced bike from YT. A shoot out with the Enduro, Nomad and Wreckoning would be fun.

oh dang! i forgot all about tonic! the howie was one of the most lust worthy frames back in the era of small batch street frames. glad to see they still making bikes. beautiful work.

i always wonder with the jeffsy pro race line eating a littttttle into the capra line, will they keep the capra travel at 170mm or slim down the travel? i never understood a 160 jeffsy and a 170 capra - too close?

This is awesome to see. Big riding/DH will go the way (and already has in some cases) of things like snowboarding and skateboarding where you get a phenom at 16 just destroying things because they started when they were 4 years old...
