I really think the enduro courses need to go back to being big, unassisted days out on the bike and the Finale course looked like a step in the right direction. Making the liaisons super tight really can ruin a race though and turn it from a tough, hard fought day into a miserable and dangerous suffer-fest. Finale has always been a physical race with quite tight liaisons and brutal stages. Reading the riders' statement, I think its important to parse it into two parts. 1) Safety: The riders should have a major say in course safety, features and conditions. This is a totally reasonable thing to aim at being there is a direct connection between the organizers, the riders and course building. If they simply took a stand over this alone, I think they'd have a lot of success getting their way. 2) Pay: The idea that the riders "deserve" something because they are putting their lives on the line unfortunately doesn't hold much water elsewhere in life. Yeah I'm changing the plans now, and to be honest - although I understand the rider's concerns and agree with many of them, what I don't agree on is the time they chose to bring their concerns to light. They not only affected Crankworx (whom they have the issues with) but they also negatively affected all of the spectators/fans that were at Rotorua. They're pretty good I haven't had any irregular issues. Just the occasional truing/tightening of the spokes. I have had a few sets of these rims and have only broken one of them but that was definitely not the rims fault, I don't think there is a rim on the market that would have held up to that type of hit.

I have a brand new 2019 Lyrik DebonAir at 160mm for may Knolly Fugitive. I race Enduro at a pro/expert level and weigh 187 lbs. Do you have a good base setting for me to start with? Im really interested in racing with this product as Enduro race course and my local terrain (Bozeman, Montana) are rough long and steep. Thanks!

I race Enduro and I built this bike with that in mind.My Warden is still fun for after work trail rides and all the way to DH races. Its all about feeling comfortable and confident with your bike...

Im sure you are sick of answering this but how do you like it??? I ride a PIVOT Mach 6 and I really want to get a new evil for Enduro racing and Resort riding. I can only have one bike so it has to do it all!!! I was dead set on a "Following" but now I just saw that evil is releasing the "Wrekoning" and I have no idea what direction I want to go in... Thanks!!!!
