Those early stems didn't catch on since reach numbers weren't there yet.. He was hooked up by a friend with a frame company and not a paying sponsorship deal. The money is coming from the fact that since he doesn’t have an official sponsor he can plaster the frame with Kubota advertising. He even says he is going to try other bikes later in the year.

Every team that requested round by round wild cards last year got them, I can’t see that changing this year so PFR will probably just get a round by round wild card entry. Regardless all their riders can get in under other rules based on rankings etc.

Sounds like he might not want to have a full WC ride, he says he is burnt out so maybe he didn't put much effort into finding a new gig.

First day on the internet? That's pretty much the normal now.. As for Laurie, he doesn't seem too stressed over it.. If he wants to get back after a break, he can hit some continental races, probably still has contacts that can get him a Hardline invite, and find himself a ride later on..
