I'm with the logic 100% *if* the doctor wasn't volunteering during a race and *if* he hadn't issued his own statement, which by all accounts is accurate (and to some extent puts his profession on the line). If Maes had some other doctor who wasn't "neutral support" and wasn't part of a race prescribe this sort of thing, I go "damn, that's unfortunate but you've got to impose some sort of pentalty". The fact he was *racing his bike* and had to make health decisions in the field where he received incorrect advice from the doctor pertaining to banned substances...

The situation with Martin is a perfect example of the inconsistencies with testing and following of procedures.. The guy ends up with an infection that could potentially kill him, the doctor gives him something to help, then they deny the TUE... But, most of the time a masking agent gets a bigger ban... Maybe it's an issue that goes back...

Actually, I don't have a problem with the sentence Richie got... I'm more curious if a French rider would have got the same sentence or if at least it would have been handled quickly... Yeti doesn't have that much money... They aren't that big.. Now, if you want to talk cover ups, Lance Armstrong is a perfect example.. And it...

I'm willing to give him 1 free pass, and IMO, Richie just used it.. Given his DH history, I'm sure this isn't his first piss test.. Considering the fact that they gave him a reduced sentence, we can call BS all we want, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt this time... If he gets popped again, I'm...

I work at a Trek dealer and they have have had something similar for a while now... We haven't had that many bikes sold that way so far... My guess is that for a lot of non-serious riders, there's a lot of noise on the web to filter through.. And a lot of serious riders still like going to a...

EXACTLY - Look at Broc Tickle's case on the moto side. He tested positive at the San Diego supercross over a year ago ans STILL has not received a hearing date.

I think this is the EWS politely saying "Shit or get off the pot.." WADA has a long history of people waiting for a penalty to be handed down.. 1 years, 2 years, lifetime... Whatever it is, stop stone walling these people so they can get on with their lives...
