Would we count something like Forbidden's V2 platform a "Spider Crab" link? (High pivot Inverted Horst Link)

I've tried this, with a husky 550XP aka a pretty powerful pro-level saw, and they just don't really work. They are designed to be run flat out, all the time at high rpm with very little torque. You're better off using an electric impact. Or a pit bike, those are fun too.

Wait have you actually seen someone break a King hub? What part of it broke? While I generally disagree with your big guys breaking more stuff anecdote I'll bite on that. The last 25 years of my life have been spent as a mechanic, service writer and later warranty/tech support for bike companies, I've seen more than my fair share...

Not sure I'd class Merino wool as a tech rumour, having been around since the 13th century... But I'll agree it's the best material for pretty well any sports-related activity. I'm partial to Mons Royal stuff, especially the merino chamois shorts. Costco always has some version of a Merino shirt for sale, probably the best deal you can get.

Sounds like you're a shitty boss. Good employees aren't hard to find if you pay them reasonable wages and treat them respectfully. If minimum wage is your starting point you're already all kinds of fucked from the jump.
Body lifts in the truck world are popular in the same way gel seat covers are popular in the cycling world. But you’re not doing a body lift, or the more popular “levelling kit” that many trucks have, you’re doing a strut spacer lift. When you move your strut assembly down 20mm, you loose 20mm of up-travel, and down-travel. The...
Yeah fair enough. These cars rely on compression damping to maintain. Ride height, you’re probably best to replace everything at once, but just springs may help. If your just trying to not scrape the rack/hitch you could pickup a hitch riser or get someone to chop/flip your hitch. Im sure you’ve picked on it, but I still don’t think strut...
I drove an 0'4 matrix for many years, about 400K or so, well past the stopped 299odo limit. I drove it off-road a ton, including driving the road to Inuvik twice in a year, all the way from the prairies to the edge of the north, Alaska, all over the place. I had everything I owned, plus a cat in...

People will absolutely notice, are you for real? We have an entire thread dedicated to leaking new stuff. People leak embargoed images and information just for some E-Clout, damn rights they'll take a photo and put it online. At least the diaper builds hype without showing what the product is.

There’s no place for that attitude here, I suggest you quieten down or find positive things to say. Straight up, people are losing their livelihoods this year and they’re going to be in turmoil, put yourself in their shoes and be kind or keep your hate in that thick skull.

I have ADHD, I was diagnosed as an adult. Though I've displayed symptoms my whole life. My process was much simpler than the above description. I am taking a low dose of Concerta now. After many years of attempting to self-regulate and use other coping strategies, it has been life-changing. I wish I had done it twenty years ago. The...

Sram mechs don't have a friction member clutch like Shimano, it's just a wound spring. I'd say in reality, neither of them is an actual "clutch" by definition. The Sram is a lockable high-tension spring, and the Shimano has an adjustable slip friction band. Neither release nor vary the speed of rotation during use as a true clutch would. The...
