7/10/2024 9:39am I've tried this, with a husky 550XP aka a pretty powerful pro-level saw, and they just don't really work. They are designed to be run flat out, all the time at high rpm with very little torque. You're better off using an electric impact. Or a pit bike, those are fun too.

7/3/2024 10:59am Well there you go, you said it yourself you haven't tried it. It's better. I've run just about every drivetrain you can put on an MTB, and XT is pretty far from the pinnacle of what's out there. I'd go as far as to say it isn't even in the top five.

6/20/2024 9:01am Not sure I'd class Merino wool as a tech rumour, having been around since the 13th century... But I'll agree it's the best material for pretty well any sports-related activity. I'm partial to Mons Royal stuff, especially the merino chamois shorts. Costco always has some version of a Merino shirt for sale, probably the best deal you can get.
