3/3/2016 10:20am For me it's either; Hitting a trail blind for the first time and relying on instinct rather than repetition, or just sliding around down some steep, loose natural local style trails with some good off cambers.

Bigburd Added a reply to Properly Bedding in Brake Pads
2/22/2016 2:41pm As above but I do it on a mild down hill, saves the legs a bit from the dozen or so sprint/stops you need to do, and I get also bed one brake at a time for the 1st few goes, once they start grabbing finish using both.

Hahahahaha, yeah, I'd way rather be on Conti's than a Minion knockoff designed by the same guy and made in the Maxxis factory with the same rubber and casing. Oh wait no nm I'd be pumped to be out of the conti desert.

Bigburd Added a reply to Which Component Do You Drop First?
2/4/2016 10:36am Surely it's gotta be the gears ? Most of the stuff I ride has barely a pedal stroke in it anyway ! Stopping and traction/bump absorbing are pretty high importance. Might be diff if your riding involves riding up or across hills tho !
