I would like to see how that front axle path compares to a standard fork. It looks like it would reduce the wheel base more drastically during compression. And look at all of those pivot(read: flex) points they've added to the front end...

While X-Fusion won't be offering a 26-inch specific fork, you can use 26-inch wheels with it. The offset is a bit different, but reportedly provides "snappier" steering when run this way.

There's a huge difference between racing world cups and free-riding. Any of the guys who ride in rampage would tear this up with much less hesitation. He's used to groomed world cup downhill courses, and that's what he does best.
