I have the regular grip one version of this fork and like it a lot. I weigh 185 and I'm at 100psi, 2 tokens, 6 clicks of comp and 4 of rebound both from open. I'm also not using full travel but like how it rides. Has anyone ridden both damper cartridges to compare? My rebound damping feels a little quick on the biggest hits.

This is going to be fun. A bunch of riders who have never tried one complaining that it is a different sport, they don't belong on trails, they are motorcycles, they cause more trail erosion etc, etc, etc. Pretty much the exact same argument that the Sierra Club used against mountain bikes. As the owner of both I can say it is all a bunch of hyperbole. If you haven't ridden one on trails for a day or two you won't get it. eBikes make climbing fun (yes I am fit and can climb just fine on my standard bike)...

I have a Runt in an older lyric and also have an ACS3 spring in a Grip 2 36. I like the lyrik with Runt more but before I put it and I thought the 36 was all that.

1/23/2018 1:41pm I have a 170mm Lyric fork and will buy the ACS kit this spring. Before I do I want to know if the Fox 36 damping control is much better than the Lyric? I'm willing to get your upgrade for either damper but don't want to invest in upgrading the Lyric's spring and cartridge only to still wish I had...
