Butch, you have thoroughly broken my online sarcasm detector. I can never tell where your going :p Looks sick. Would love it if the conditions stayed this way. Is everyone on a full mud spike at this point? Hope we get more coverage of the corse and not just the last few turns like Les gets. I love watching the wizards of mud riding battle it out.

I demo'ed a bike at a bike park that had XC carbon bars on them, and no joke they flexed up and down more than a cm. That felt great on braking bumps, but the steering inputs also flexed and really messed with handling. Theoretically, OneUps oval...

100% I would talk to the race promoter or commissioner. They're the one in charge of the race, let them figure all that crap out. Besides, this is the person the athlete should have reported things to in the first place. I wouldn't flame the athlete publicly right now, because the race organizer might end up doing that for you. Maybe if you report it and nothing happens, you can flame them later. That's a tough situation to be in. Not envious.

Hi Max, DT US employee here. I totally appreciate your stance. I have been riding DT products for more than 20 years (and worked here for 3). I was on 36T hubs for a very long time and really liked them. Since starting at DT I have been on the 54T EXP. Last fall I got on the new 90T and to be perfectly fair, I have a hard time telling the difference on trail. The engagement between them is a couple of degrees different but both meet my needs. I work with OEM customers and some are super interested...
