Rob could do commentary on his own, on a podcast, and i would mute the Discovery coverage and listen to him.

Great show. Great having Dak Norton on, he's so honest. I love that I can listen to 3-4 podcasts about the same race and get so much from each one.

To be unfair, they should have known a lot of those questions (mainly about paywalls) would come up and should have prepared CB with better responses

These guys are not your savior. Mans talking about biathlon as an idea to "elevate" the sport. I hope Chris Ball died a little inside hearing that because I sure as fuck did.

conclusion: just because this video is nauseating doesn't mean they can't fulfill on their promises of good race coverage. do i have faith in them? i think that's pretty plain to see by my comments, but as a few people have told me via text in the last few minutes, give them a chance. i'll try, but i'll be holding my breath knowing what happens anytime significant corporate investor money comes into something with the promise of "taking it to the next level" and elevating something to mainstream/worldwide status.

Super impressive for Dak to overcome that sort of mad scramble on Saturday and still have his head on straight for finals on Sunday. Ditto for Frida on someone else's bike. Thanks for the great reporting, Vital.
