Thanks! The only handling advantage is that I can run pretty low pressures and with a Rimpact it feels quite controlled, damped. It’s not suspension but it helps. And I find it less bouncy/ pingy than running a full 29er setup.
My favourite rear tyre is the Aggressor but they don’t make a 2.8, hence the Rekon. But I actually really like it too. It’s seen as a light weight, which it is but it has a great balance of grip/ pedal ability just like the Aggressor. Imo.
