Öhlins has been going from strength to strength over the recent years, making incremental changes to many of their MTB products in the name of improving performance and reliability – each time accompanied by an unassuming iteration in the model number. Thought about doing R vs Evo, but felt those are at different ends of the spectrum and it would be pretty obvious who they are for and how they differ.

"Nobody lifts a finger." is a bit of an overstatement. Plenty of people who were there did what they could, which wasn't much since they had other jobs to do and he wasn't gushing blood. They told him it sit down and called the ambulance. He kept standing and waited. Were they supposed to shut down practice and kiss it and make it better? He didn't seem to have any complaints about how it was handled.

I think Finn lost the race on the first left hander in the last section. Anecdotally, he looked to visibly brake far earlier than everyone else in that turn.

Maybe we should have said "relatively" affordable, but still, compared to EXT's own high-end shocks and others on the market, the price is very competitive for the features and performance you get here. Hence "affordable excellence" was the headline.

Why would EXT let people butcher their products at home. Very few people can even set up suspension correctly let alone have the tools and brains to maintenance these.

I think there was a massive change in rampage when they started giving the dig crews more access to water. They can build such fat lips and packed in landings with water that it ups the amplitude of what’s possible.
