Just got this from Knolly: A Message from Noel Buckley I'm going to keep this simple because you deserve that. The last few years have been the hardest this industry has ever seen, and Knolly has not been immune. But we have been fighting through it: restructuring costs, tightening operations, and doing the difficult work of right-sizing the business to match a new reality. We were making progress. That progress was cut short. Our bank, RBC, has made the decision to call in our account. This comes at a time when RBC is posting record annual profits, $20.4 billion last...

Noel is a high quality, honest human being. Had the pleasure of knowing and working with him for many years. He lives the brand and will always do right by his customers. I hope they come out of this. Wishing the best for Noel, the staff, and their families. Tough times....

One important thing about the D3O diablo line is that it is significantly worse in impact tests vs "standard" LP1 D3O protection pads. In the CE impact test, the level 2 diablo pad is the exact same level of protection as the standard level 1 D3O "LP1" protector that comes in many other elbow/knee pads. Yo, also on the trail crew. Not really down to get into the mud with all of the environmental permitting stuff which is really above my dirt-shaping pay grade, but misinformation about the crew test riding our own course build is where I draw the line. We rode it last week on trail bikes and will be riding more this week. T>B

To be clear Whiteface and ORDA are not in any trouble, that is an article that was written from information that was given in an option piece by a local environmental advocacy group. So yes ORDA is not in compliance with possible required permits but it does not seem like the enforcement agency cares to be honest.
