I've seen this bike in person and it's a beauty. I typically associate attention to detail with big companies like Specialized and Trek, not small brands like Evil, but The Following is a really well executed frame design. As a result, I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering one of these for myself.
And ChirpChirp's is a Medium, IIRC. EDIT: The bike is a Small.

I understand You question, I rode Upr in M/L and i had same question but Rock Shox Reverb Stealth is in 430mm length - it sure help You in choice.
The Following in M has same wheel base like Uprising in M/L, so even if You take The Following in L, with short stem he will be quite good too. Depend waht You like

FWIW, when that bike was photographed, it hadn't even been ridden yet; just taken straight out of the bike stand for its freshy pics. I doubt that setpost height is what he's running -- notice the "not above this line" mark is exposed?
Out of curiosity, what is the harm in exposing a lot of seatpost as long as you are below the post's maximum? Manufacturers do a lot of testing to determine that maximum, so as long as you are below that mark, you are safe from failure; your seat rails will bend and break long before the post will. Just say'n...
