Pre-Rampage shenanigans from Robin Goomes and crew...Robin looks ready to defend her crown for sure!

Quick observations from the first looks through socials:

  • Women got the bigger side of the mountain (looker's right).
  • Which means the men's field is more cramped into a tighter space, so my prediction is we'll see a lot of shared features between the men's lines.
  • Brett Rheeder is back on the mountain, but this time as a digger for Tommy G. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've seen a former champ return as a member of a dig crew before. Interesting, that's for sure.
  • The water thing definitely seems to make it harder to build properly packed big landings, it's already evident after the first dig day, even after the heavy rain the day before. I think they still have gravity-fed water pipes running down the mountain that they can access with water jugs to fill, they just can't use hoses.
  • This is the tallest Rampage venue out of the five, so they'll have to move quickly with the tools to get everything built in time for finals.
  • And here's a sick 3D rendering of the venue: https://rbmhus.nira.app/a/Sv-UDMkcTwSo6z9csos1jA/1

a few more things:

  • Interesting that this year's Digger Award goes to the team that leaves the terrain the most untouched and interferes with the natural shape of the mountain as little as possible.
  • These changes could be a step towards more natural freeride vibes, without the huge drops and jumps we've become used to. Or maybe it's simply because this is state land rather than private property, so they have to follow different rules. Not sure.
  • At the top, the men and women also share a bit of terrain. It'll be interesting to see how they work around each other on that shared section.
  • On the women's side, there are also a lot more existing features from previous years that they can utilize, like c-dog's "minister" step down.

Word from TLD about a limited collection of apparel to celebrate 25 years of Rampage.

Troy Lee Designs Celebrates 25 Years of Red Bull Rampage with Limited Edition Collection

The 2026 TLD x Red Bull Rampage Collection celebrates the lines, moments and riders that have shaped 25 years of freeride progression.

TLD Rampage Riddle-21395

Corona, CA (September 30, 2026) – For 25 years, Red Bull Rampage has turned the Utah desert into freeride’s ultimate canvas, a place where riders imagine new lines, push progression and create moments that become part of mountain bike history.

To celebrate that legacy, Troy Lee Designs introduces the 2026 Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Rampage Collection, a limited-edition assortment inspired by the lines, riders and unforgettable moments that have defined Rampage for a quarter century.

The collection comes to life through two distinct creative stories: Dreamland and Canyon Gap.

Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Rampage Dreamland Collection
Dreamland looks back at the terrain itself, featuring hand-painted artwork inspired by some of the most iconic lines ever built and ridden at Rampage. From ridgelines and chutes to massive drops and gaps, the artwork pays tribute to the creativity of the riders who have transformed the Utah desert and continually redefined what is possible on a mountain bike.

The Dreamland story spans the D4 Carbon Helmet, Air Glove, Pullover Hoodie, Short Sleeve and Long Sleeve Tees, Trucker Hat, Boonie Hat and Beanie.

Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Rampage Canyon Gap Collection
Canyon Gap shifts the focus from the lines to an unforgettable moment in time. Featuring stylized artwork of TLD athlete Brendan Fairclough sending a backflip over the legendary canyon gap, the design captures the commitment, creativity and progression at the heart of Rampage.

The Canyon Gap story is featured across a Pullover Hoodie, Short Sleeve Tee and Unstructured Snapback.

This is Clemens Kaudela's "The Minister" drop...which is indeed in the women's zone this year. Will we see it sent again?

Hannah and Cami putting their line together, with a sick chute up top and "The Minister" to close out the run with a banger - literally one of the biggest drops ever sent in the history of the sport:

They modified both the takeoff and the landing to make it a bit safer and less technical, which brings it down to around 75 feet into the sweet spot. Still absolutely massive. Clemens' original version was around 95 feet.

They extended the lip and are reshaping the landing some. If you watch the videos they mentioned how Clemens went ~98 feet and they want to go ~75 feet with some tweaks to make it a bit “safer”.
