Forbidden Bike Company Launches Two Titanium Hardtails: Puritan and Heathen 15

The Bicycle Witchcraft family is growing.

Cumberland, BC – Meet the newest members of our Bicycle Witchcraft family, the Puritan and the Heathen. Two proportionally sized titanium hardtail frames. While these bikes do not employ an idler or a high-pivot layout, we can assure you that they are all metal and all Forbidden.
This limited run of titanium frame kits are designed to be ridden hard and kept for a lifetime.

Heathen

PressRelease Photo 10

A slack aggressive hardtail MTB featuring our ONERIDE proportional sizing designed around a 130mm fork. A bike to be cherished or to be neglected. Build it up to beat it down year-round or bless it up with bespoke bits ‘til your friends start asking what you really do for work.
Smaller sizes (S1 & S2) run an MX wheel setup, while S3 & S4 are full 29. This size split allows us to maintain our front-centre to rear-centre ratio and preserve the intended ride characteristics across sizes.

The slack head angle might raise eyebrows for a short-travel bike, but it’s deliberate. A shorter fork keeps the geometry consistent under compression. Meaning the Heathen remains composed when it matters most. This trail-ready chassis is intended to be a comfortable companion on everything from spicy XC loops to loaded up haul through the backcountry. A metallic mentor ready to guide us back to a life of mechanical minimalism.

Puritan

PressRelease Photo 02

A gravel bike? A 90’s mountain bike? Who cares. This bike is unconcerned with labels. It’s a proportionally sized titanium ATB (all-terrain bike) built for loaded up long hauls, serendipitous mid-commute singletrack sessions, and whatever else you think you shouldn’t be doing on a 700c bike.
With room for up to 700c x 2.0" (50 mm) tyres and our ONERIDE proportional sizing, the Puritan blends gravel efficiency with comfort and stability. Load it up with bags to get lost in the woods, or pedal it to the pub. We don’t make the rules.

PressRelease Photo 03

The Puritan is purpose-built to run a flat bar and a 60mm stem. Yes, you can build it with drop bars, but it will stretch out the rider triangle. Sorry, not sorry. This bike is unapologetically flat-bar first.
