Just saw this Red Bull colab video drop. Big production, been out over a week. Who do you think is rally-driving that Audi in the beginning? Gwin (0:45 eyes, 0:55 voice), even though he isn't in the credits I'm pretty sure that is Gwin in the Audi. Thus, this pretty seriously confirms Gwin with Audi & Red Bull, no indication of bike brand. He isn't in the credits so they are still trying to keep it secret.
I'd be willing to bet he'll drop a pretty impressive announcement video (similar to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMqADdsVmwQ) from Moab now... You don't think that he'd let all the Red Bull resources and film equipment go to waste down there? And the Audi shots are definitely not some coincidental accident, Audi is in on it too...
Rhys Millen is the driver of the Audi in the recently released Red Bull video titled "Chain Reaction".
Gwin was driving a Porsche GT3, VAG owns both Audi and Porsche...Nice little deal he worked out on that one.
May be something to this. Gwin doesn't strike me as someone who would just go out and buy a 150k sports car and getting a smokin deal from Volkswagen/Porsche would make sense in the regard. I really didn't think there was anything to the vw thing but this is interesting.

Proof he owns a Porsche please. Also, proof his AlpineStars riding gear does not refer to what he chooses for MX.

No definitive proof he owns the porsche. But I et he does. As for Alpinestars he said in the interview posted he will be using their gear. In addition he confirmed he is staying with fox, ht, renthal, and gyro shoes.

Then that confirms it - Gwin on the new Prototype Evil DH frame.

All kids who grew up competitively racing motorcycles in Southern California aren't from poor, underprivileged families, are they?
Not too many kids racing in the UCI World Cup who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. Just throwing that out there...
I'm pretty sure that's not the case with Gwin.
He posted a pic of the mobile home he used to live in as a kid on insta awhile back. He might be making big bucks now, but i dont think he was rolling in the dough during the moto days, i vaguely remember in an interview that his parents were up to their armpits in CC debt to keep him in the races.
Anyways, He seems like a humble enough dude, and he definitely put in the work to get those toys.
So,,Gwin is a pikey !, that's the first thing that came into my mind when I seen his haircut ,the caravan confirms it,,
at least that would explain where he gets all the cash,,he must do driveways during the winter season..
Eddie must have a new team under him if he's still with bergamont,,,that's a pike on his trail bike,,could they be with rock shox /sram now instead of Manitou /hayes,,,im sure that would give them better support at races..

Im gonna call it now, I'd be willing to bet Gwin's new team actually has nothing to do with KTM.
No where has it ever been said he's sponsored by them to ride their MX bikes, from what I understand it is thanks to KTM and Red Bull's close relationship. Red Bull riders can usually get quite a discount on KTM equipment, if not given to them by Red Bull. He also lives near the home of KTM USA and considering they make a top notch bike, it just makes sense for him to chose them for his personal toys.
are you all ignoring that article from the german Freeride Magazine? It was published shortly after all entries where submited to the uci. Its a big bike mag, dont think they would risk their image for some clicks...

In the first line of the article it´s written, that it´s only a speculation.
And they changed the article, cause i read it first when they used this mega bullshit article from mbaction.com as source right after this crap was published.

I may be wrong, but I don't think it will happen.

So it´s just a guess, no confirmation guys..
