2021 Devinci Troy Long-Term Review
Overall Review
Enduro World Series smasher, Greg Callaghan has a FOX 38 fork and DPS rear shock on his Devinci Troy. Keegan Wright runs a DHX2 coil shock on his, while stock configurations of the Troy see anything from a 150mm RockShox Pike to a 160mm travel FOX 36 up front. So, what is this 140mm travel 29er all about then? We've been hammering on the 2021 Devinci Troy XT LTD for over four months and have our final verdict filed. Really nice . First time I’ve gone plastic (weight and price). Replaced some twice price uncomfortable HT AE03 Alloy Pedals which felt horrible and the bearings/bushings didn’t hold up.

Roval Control SL Team LTD Wheelset
Overall Review
When opening this box for the first time, we grabbed the front wheel first and went “damn that’s a crazy light wheel”, then we pulled out the second wheel and went “well looks like Specialized sent us two front wheels”. Then we looked a bit closer and found that thing where the cassette sits, sure enough it was a rear wheel but it was so light that we thought it was a second front wheel. Pretty crazy! Strengths Weaknesses Feathery light Wide, very supportive rim profile Top-level puncture

Eastern Alloy & Magnesium Flat Pedal
Midschool goodness
The Good
Good grip, durable, looks good
The Bad
Big, clunky, unsealed
Overall Review
If you need a pair of pedals for cheap these aren't a bad option. But there are so many better choices out there today... I use these on a midschool build of mine. They suit it perfectly.

2021 Specialized Stumpjumper EVO Expert
Overall Review
The Stumpjumper EVO truly evolved in 2018, taking the long, low, slack mantra to new extremes for the brand. It was a different beast with a 63.5-degree head angle, super-low standover, lengthy reach, and was clearly made for getting rowdy. Fast forward to today and Specialized is back with a new generation that continues to push their boundaries but is far more accessible to more riders. SRAM Guide R Disc Brake
The Good

(+) Good for mellow trails and entry level riders
(++) Good modulation
(++) Ambidextrous lever
The Bad

(---) Can't stand the heat
(-) Developed a spongy feeling after a month
Overall Review
Irode the SRAM Guide R on mellow trails (e.g. smooth trails with some roots and rocks here and there) that are an hour away from Metro Manila in the Philippines. These trails get sloppy with mud during the monsoon rains and dry and dusty in the summer months. I've had these brakes for two years before I replaced these with the SRAM Code R. The Guide R has good modulation and it improved my braking skills. I like the tool-free adjustment knob on the lever throw. I was able to adjust the lever

The spring of 2020 was tough. It was particularly tough if you were single when the bars of social isolation came down. Perhaps you started scrolling through the names of various exes and sent out texts about how you were “Just checking in” or the ever chivalrous and don’t you worry, oh-so-original, “Making sure you’re okay.” Well, much to your excitement and despite their better judgment, someone decided to meet up with you. It was the Giant Trance X. You remember it from 2013 though it was a
