Heavy news today that David KVO passed away. Apparently he went into a restaurant, ordered food and passed out while sitting there. David was an American DH pinner and character on the NORBA circuit in the early to mid-2000's. We'll miss you David, rest in peace.

Sad news to hear. One of the shredders from when I was a grom and just learning about how cool this sport was - always thought he had the best name on the start list!

Like many, I join in on the sadness to know David K is gone...wow. I took a lot of shit back in the day trying to convince people he'd be one of the great racers, I believed in this kids will to dig deep and try hard. I never saw someone fall so much and get back up and try again-I admired that.
I threw the kid in my team truck more than a few times to drive across country, to get him to races, teach him about racing and the bike industry. He was a good soul that made a few poor choices when he was young haha, but, such a good kid.
Rest in peace DK, I am a better person for ever knowing you.

Ouch. He was such a pinner. Sorry for prying, but what was he fighting? Maybe not appropriate to ask but I am wondering. RIP.

Dave K was a reliable smile in the pits at so many races during our time together sharing in the sport we love. He was an inspiration to me that an American could go fast. You are missed my friend. I can't believe your time here has ended. Love you dude.

Very sad to see the news yesterday. Will never forget hopping in behind him at some of the races mentioned and just trying to figure out how he could go so fast! RIP David K
