Nukeproof has always had a good strong bricks and mortar dealer network in the UK and opening a US office makes sense to help expand operations your side of the pond.
Well they already charge bike store prices these days so they might as well
i just checked and mega 290 factory model (fox/XT/carbon frame) is about $6100 U.S. that seems pretty reasonable these days, doesn't it? similiar enough capra core 4 is $5,999. bike shop brands would be another $1-2k or more wouldn't they?

i'm just curious which is why i'm replying here.
Yeah I'm being a bit facetious, although Nukeproof did have a 26% price increase across the board when the 2022 models were released and generally the only difference compared to the same 2021 model was the paint. All 2022 Vituses increased by 20% too.
I like the Mega 27.5 & need to save up for one but price increases aren't helping my lil wallet.
Heck, my pitiful 2018 Kona Process 153 is garbage except for the Nukeproof stuff hanging off it that I replaced the OEM stuff with.
The 142mm Horizon V2 wheels have bought me 2+ years of bashing with only one tensioning the spokes 2 months ago.
The Horizon pedals I've had for 4 years and all I've done is replace a few pins.
The Nukeproof bolt on accesory strap that mounts to my poorly designed water bottle mount on the downtube to hold my spare tube & levers is perfect.
My friend got a giga frame with an ext for 3400. Don’t know many bike store frames that are that close to it in price. True before the price increases my frame was 2600 shipped with an x2 grenade so really not much better of a deal
Nukeproof had the SRAM proto motors in their bikes earlier this year in Tweed Valley - my guess is the new motor will launch in a NP... and probably in 23 by the sounds of it.

Irony is that within days of me posting this I found a buddy is going to work for them. They just ran a demo at OuterBike in Bentonville.
