yobiker Added a comment about video Do You Lose Air When Removing the Shock Pump?

Honestly, the easiest way to prevent people from constantly questioning the shock pressure gain/loss is to remove the gauge from the shock pump and integrate a the gauge into the shock design itself. But then again that would just cost more and add useless weight.

4/19/2020 5:40pm All the years I worked for a bikeshop, we used to tell people that we can’t put aerobars on riser bars haha. That was just to avoid liabilities and being held accountable for user error.

Also more muscle=dense mass increase=weight increase=bottom out change. Also conditioned soft tissues, connective tissues, and cardiovascular structure in extremities can withstand high frequency bumps and vibrations. Also conditioned muscle memory in itself has a major effect on response and compensation directed toward the immediate momentary events encountered during the riding process. Jumping head first into a new experience before the body has the chance to adapt, usually will make most extreme changes uncomfortable. The best setup for a race course would require the rider to take time to do what is necessary to adapt and evolve the physiology of their...

3/30/2020 7:29am Pink Bike had people commenting on the size of the bikes compared to the rider... regarding the comments about their bikes looking huge in the photos; I personally think it’s the way the pictures where set up. One major distorting variable is the fact that these pictures were taken from a perspective that aims straight ahead while the the road the bike and rider stands on is descending and away from the camera. This obscures everything and causes each object to appear drastically smaller per every increment of distance increasing away from the camera lens.

12/27/2019 8:59pm Perfect, easycomposites was exactly what I was thinking. I haven’t built my large curing oven yet. I only have a small oven that I use for powdercoating cure that will handle parts as large as fork lowers. I started a contract job in a Engineering and Research department where they do all of their composite and materials R&D/testing. I’m waiting for the perfect moment to ask if I can utilize their process equipment and ovens off the clock... fingers crossed. Otherwise I’m fine with building my own ovens at home. It would be really nice to make a bike frame...

12/27/2019 7:20pm Thanks Well, I used OOA Out Of Autoclave prepreg from Easycomposites and cured this in my (big) homemade oven. The front triangle is molded in one shot in a big resin mold using a bladder. There is a debulking every 3 layers made with a simple vaccum bag.
