3/29/2021 7:36am Would love to see a new carbon rim shootout. One bike multiple rims and a series of repeatable tests. Noble's Sine-wave rims, the new crop of WAO rims, the Cranks brothers Synthesis, the Revel carbon rim, SC reserves and whoever else wants in. I wanna see these all stacked up against each-other and see what kind of things we can learn. So many great options out there but many of them going about it in slightly different ways and what not.... Oh let's bring those high roller Zipp wheels too. There was a lot of shaft stroking from them about...

3/21/2021 3:05pm Exactly. Most of Norco's gravity team juniors and elites also race local, national and EWS events through the year so give em a bike that can easily be converted be a different bike with just a few parts changes. CRANKWORX is becoming bigger and bigger with really good pay outs. Many elite riders are now making sure they get to...

3/20/2021 4:39pm I'd put a good chunk of change on The Norco DH bike we are seeing is the new Range with a modified dropout and link to accomodate additional travel and to change up leverage curves and what not to better suit DH. One of the photos of blenki at NZ champs you can see a raw alloy dropout and unpolished...

3/20/2021 4:09pm The old frames broke due to poor design/manufacturing. Factor of safety was much too low. They don't have that issue anymore. If you swap the link on a bike that's going to break anyway it will still break so not really a good example. In fact if you made it less progressive you'd break it even worse when the shock slammed into the bottom out bumper. Do we do mechanical testing? It would be wasteful to break frames just to do it since all you would learn is that you have to bottom out really hard to break it. You...

I can vouch for a full face helmet chin guard fracturing a collar bone. Happened to me at Mt Creek Bike Park quite some time ago after landing on my back. I purchased a Leatt neck brake right after that. Glad people/companies like Leatt are pushing the protection industry to keep innovating.

1/4/2021 7:01am Yoann Barelli to Kona. Follows no other bike brands other than Kona and also follows their communications manager. With Rhys Verner off the Kona Gravity (shitty for Kona) it opens up a spot for another sponsored rider.

1/1/2021 8:44am Also has this note about Ethan Shandro. Hopefully he can come back strong for 2022: Ethan Shandro, who was unable to race 2020, will step back from the team in 2021 as he recovers from concussion symptoms. Trek will continue to support Ethan as he works towards a return to full-time racing.

12/29/2020 8:09am Well I figured he'd blur and colour in the giveaway of the headtube area. I was more basing it off the rocker size, rear triangle, Horst link position and shock placement. He also only follows a DVO suspension guy so that's where that came from. I could also be like everyone else here.... Possibly wrong lol
