Man there are plenty other brands besides Shimano. I’ve had zero issues with any hydraulic brakes I’ve owned. Bike looks good... except.. that rear tire fender is hideous! Throw that away and never look back or put it on your spouse’s beach cruiser

Turning the valve body is not possible I guess? That would explain the direction you are using the shock. And it would explain why cane creek has special versions of the IL to fit the stumpjumper. https://www.canecreek.com/products/shocks/

Thats good to know. I want to buy the Evo next year to replace my current Enduro and this build makes it even more interesting. 160 in the front and 150 in the back is perfect. Most of the tests are saying that the high position is the best anyway. Only problem is that shocks with a 53 stroke are really hart to find. 55 is more common.

Nice build. Is this a custom yoke or does the stumpjumper evo support a wider range of shocks? Or how did you managed to get it from 140mm travel to 150mm? *edit* I guess with the 53mm stroke (instead of the default 50mm) you get 150mm travel at the end. Is there no problem with the rear wheel hitting the seat tube?

Hi, the height of the bike fits perfect for me (185cm). I have enough space and all. I guess the L would also work for smaller people. But would I be taller, the XL would be a better solution. But right now the bike is super snappy, even or a 29".
