I've been 5 times, I believe. The facility and infrastructure is all super impressive and appealing. The trails are also really good for the most part, especially if you like jumping. If you're someone who is trying to get better and progress as jumping, then it's absolutely great, as there is a pretty steady progression from small to very large. There are also some great fast flow trails. Everything is very well-maintained and well-built. It's DEFINITELY worth checking it out. That being said, the drawback, as you'd imagine, is that there isn't a lot of vertical nor is there much...

Over the winter, long-time TR East Coast ambassadors Alex and Ella McAndrew reached out about running an event in their neck of the woods. With a limited demo schedule, we organized Laps and Taps, a group ride tour across three states and seven different trailheads. With the grill en tow, we met up with everything from die-hard enduro racers to mountain bike enthusiasts on New England's diverse network of trails. It was awesome to see how passionate everyone was about their local trails and their willingness to show us the local lines. This new video documents a weekend well spent...
12 years later there are a few things that stand out about this ONE LAP. Semenuk should have race downhill Action cam stabilization has come a long way Schroeder had no idea what he would get himself into with Vital Luca, on it like he always is.

if # of cameras was limited i just figured instead of some of the average up-the-track angles we had, sacrifice one of those for the gnar.

sspomer Added a new video Vampire's Ripperatti Ti Gearbox Downhill Bike

Chris Canfield of Vampire Bikes walks us through his new Ripperatti titanium downhill bike that features the Pinion Smartshift gearbox. This limited-edition machine has two travel settings, 190mm mid-pivot or 223mm high-pivot and can shift without pedaling thanks to the Pinion. Are gearboxes the future?
27.5/29 mullet ebike. Probably something modular and lighter weight like the Vala (can build it either 150/160 or 160/170) 29 downcountry / trail bike. Something like a Tallboy or Smuggler. Something I could ride all the trails on but lots of vert pedaling on too. Every other size combo can rot. Zero desire to ride any of them.

it was a bummer that the webcast didn't have the steep, tech, sometimes-doubled, rock stepdowny zone. that's one of the craziest parts of the track.

I might be in the minority on this, but I really wish UCI would do what Crankworx and the Pro Downhill Series already do: Let 17 and 18 year olds race with the "elite" (a/k/a 19 and older) riders. They can maintain a Juniors category for the young riders who want to gain experience without having to compete with veterans, but this is yet another year when there are Juniors who already can (and do, at least in other organizations) compete effectively with the older riders. The kids are already facing the same demands as the Elites do: international travel...

Impressive by Jackson. I can't imagine being a domestic pro, finally getting the opportunity to race with some big dawgs, only to realize one of the fastest riders in the world just beat you by 20 seconds. That's a pretty eye opening reminder of how good these guys are

Jackson Goldstone puts 5 seconds into the field, all the commentator can talk about is how small he is. Andreas Kolb, Jackson's teammate comes down with a respectable run, but well-off Jackson's pace: no mention of his height or stature. Can the commentators try a "little" bit harder to find a story-line?

This seems like more than a bad tune, I'm betting it's a QC issue. Not uncommon, unfortunately.
