4/25/2010 11:44pm Hahahaha, Ace, you are the Vital Nazi. I have to agree though. The wooden berm at Wilson woods probably took longer than anything else to build, and it looks sick as hell. The fact is ..everything else is 10X more fun to shred.

4/20/2010 12:14am @ BeigeWolf I completely agree with you on all fronts...except for the hating on the pump tracks. If anyone hated the pump tracks it was because they didn't have the skills necessary to enjoy them. They were my favorite thing at the race, and I was just happy to have something to keep me entertained.

4/19/2010 11:39pm This year I took a Greyhound bus to Salinas and slept on the sidewalk near some homeless guy who kept telling me he was born and raised in Salinas until the morning of DS qualis. I was running on 2 hours of sleep, and hardly ready for multiple hikes to the top of the track....blah blah blah, tire peels off...

4/8/2010 11:51pm Smooth, well-groomed, flowy trails with a variety of jumps and go-arounds for beginners. Not everyone has a DH bike, so it would be great to be able to rock a hardtail on some of the trails. A hardtail in Keystone is ROUGH...just keep some trails well groomed with minimal rocks. Whoops and rock gardens are fine, but loose baby heads...
