2/14/2011 7:51pm We have the 4130 Subway Series ride here in L.A., and you wouldn't believe some of the cruisers out on the ride. Everyone brings out their old school BMX bikes, and we haul ass from Hollywood to Downtown L.A.. There were probably over 100 24" cruisers out this past Saturday... some real sexy beasts.

2/13/2011 4:25am So, now I think you're saying the first mountain bikes were not actually mountain bikes. Why should dual suspension bikes have an unfair advantage? There should be optional "rough" lines for the full squish bikes that is equally quick. If the track is as rough as you are talking about, then a dh bike would dominate a 4" 4x bike...

2/11/2011 6:53pm I vote to nix the 4x and really run with the super slalom idea... Just a short DH track with lines smooth enough for a hardtail. It doesn't even have to be a DUAL slalom. Bring it!

1/28/2011 4:18pm I think you about covered it. I think less of UNIT (even though I never thought positively of them) now that he is associated with them. Biking is fun..it doesn't have to be super serious and HARDCORE. Go big...just don't act like you are the King of Awesomehardcoremofo because you did so.

Big man fall hard, or little man break on impact? Do you think taller riders have an advantage on course (longer legs = more maneuverability and suspension)?

I don't think mp3 players should be banned, but in-ear headphones should be. Be very specific, lest you get something that pisses a lot of responsible riders off.
